Ann K. Nelson, 97, passed away Monday, July 11, 2016.   She was a life resident of Akron.  Ann was a loving mother and homemaker, who made the best pies. Preceded in death by her husband, Edward Nelson and daughters, Patricia Wallace and Gloria Wiese; survived by her daughter, Carole Nelson; grandchildren, Richard (Kim), David (Laura), Tami (Tony), Kim, Cindy (Mike), Heidi (Terry), Brian and Tiffany (Jim); 15 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Don Wiese and special friend, Joyce Kelley. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Grace Hospice especially, Lindsay and Community Care Givers for all the kindness and support that was given to Ann and her family. Funeral service will be held Friday 1 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203 with Pastor Robert Webb officiating.  Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.  Ann’s family will receive friends from 12 Noon until time of service.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Grace Hospice, 3515 Massillon Road, #270, Uniontown, Ohio 44685.
