Barberton – Betty J. Belton, 96, went into the arms of the Lord on Thursday, December 1, 2016.    Betty was a lifetime resident of Barberton and was employed at the Diamond Match Company for 8 years.  She enjoyed socializing and going out to eat.  Betty loved spending time at McDonalds with her many longtime friends.  She always looked beautiful and could lighten up a room.     She will be greatly missed.     Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Miner and Mary (Kail) Mackey and “The Love of Her Life”, husband, Howard Belton.     Following Betty’s wishes cremation has taken place.  A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 6th at 2:30 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Pastor Mike Prebynski officiating.
