Our sweet mother, Charlene L. Stoner (Mort-Heintzman), 68, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, August 4, 2016. Preceded in death by her father, William; brother, Michael and step-father, Larry.  She is survived by her mother, Joan; daughters, Michelle (Jesse), Heather, Heidi (Matt) and grandchildren, Tyler, Alyssa, Alec, Bella and Lillian. Our mother was fun-loving, an energetic spitfire who had a passion for animals, gardening and helping others. The family would like to extend our sincerest thanks and gratitude toward the Neuro ICU team at Akron General Medical Center for their exceptional care. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Avenue. Barberton with Fr. Thomas McCann officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until time of service. To honor Char’s wishes, please dress comfortably and in bright and cheerful colors.
