Charles “Chuck” A. Pike Jr., 75, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018. A life resident of Barberton, moving to Canal Fulton 10 years ago. Chuck was a graduate of Barberton High School, Class of 1961. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve and retired from Akron Welding and Spring with 32 years of service. Chuck was a member of Canal Fulton Baptist Church. He was very dedicated to witnessing for and serving the Lord. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Luella and sister, Brenda Garrett; survived by his wife of 53 years, Sue; sons, John (Tina) and Ron (Susan); grandchildren, Katelyn, Erica and Renee; sister, Charlene (Ron) Sigman; brothers-in-law, Bill (Ruth) Massey and Rick (Susan) Massey; along with other relatives and friends. Chuck’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Akron Summa Hospice/Palliative Care from all the care and support both he and his family received. Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 10th at 11 a.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., with Pastor W.S. Owens officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
