Canal Fulton – Emma Blankenship, 89, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017. A resident of Barberton for most her life, residing in Canal Fulton for the past 10 years. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and sister, always caring, giving, supportive, never judgmental and had a great sense of humor. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.     Preceded by her husband, Jack Blankenship; parents, Ralph and Louise Bailey; sister, Regina Thomason and grandson, Brandon Blankenship; survived by her sons, James (Desiree) Shultz and John (Annette) Shultz; daughters, Christina (Neil) Devore and Constance Milliron; grandchildren, Jason, James II, Jamie, John Paul (Faith), Leanna, Courtney, Adrianna, Damian, Devon, Daniel, Johnathon and Nathan; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie, Roberta, Mary and Shirley; special brother-in-law, Don Blankenship; along with other family members and friends. A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 24th at the Calvary Apostolic Church, 2693 Nesbitt Ave., Akron, Ohio 44314 at 7 p.m. with Pastor Butch Carter officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until time of service.
