Helen Thomas, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Friday December 22, 2017. A life resident of Akron area, she was a member of Apostolic Church of Barberton. Preceded in death by her husband, Cy Thomas; daughter, Charlotte and grandson, Jeffrey; survived by daughter, Debra Ann Cathey; sons, Gary Thomas and Gregory Allen Thomas; grandson, Bryan; step-brother, John; step-sister, Mary; along with other family members and friends. Helen’s funeral service will be held Thursday, December 28th at 7 p.m. at Apostolic Church of Barberton, 1717 W. Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Barberton 44203 with Pastor Rod Pamer and Pastor Paul Pamer officiating.  Visitation 6 p.m. until time of service.  Procession to Greenlawn Memorial Park for her committal service, will form at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203 on Friday, December 29th at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Apostolic Church of Barberton.
