Katherine L. Cecil, 93, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 18, 2017. A resident of Barberton for 70 years, she was a member of Calvary Apostolic Church. Preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Carl Cecil.  Katherine is survived by her daughters, Denise (Marvin Ray) Miller and Lynette (Jimmy) Miller; grandchildren, Carl (Brittany) Miller, Sarah (Stephen) Martin, James Miller, William (Sarah) Miller and Andrew Miller (Maggie Sheehan); great-grandchildren, Joel and Eli Martin and Elaina Miller and a host of other family members and friends.    Katherine’s funeral service will be held Thursday, December 21st at 7 p.m. at Calvary Apostolic Church, 2693 Nesbitt Ave., Akron, Ohio 44314 with Rev. Nelson Carter officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until time of service.  A graveside service will be held for her family on Friday, December 22nd at Greenlawn Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Calvary Apostolic Church.
