Linda Jean (Echard) McCaskey

Barberton – Linda Jean McCaskey (nee Echard), 78, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 10, 2018. She was born July 31, 1939 to the late Irvin and Minnie Echard.  Preceded in death by her son, Martin Gilberton; siblings, Warren Smith, Gerald Smith and Annamae (Smith) Horvath.  Linda is survived by her husband, Rexford Allen McCaskey; children, Gary Gilbertson and Morgan (nee McCaskey) (Eric) Robertson; grandchildren, Kyla Gilbertson and Emmett, Margaret and Sadie Robertson; along with other relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.Funeral service will be held Thursday 11:15 a.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton with Nathan Robinson officiating.  Burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Linda’s family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 560 Wooster Road, W., Barberton, Ohio 44203 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
