Michael E. Clark

Michael E. Clark, age 70 passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Akron General Medical Center in Akron, Ohio.Mike was born on March 9, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan a son of Allen and Agnes Clark. Mike received his B.A. degree from Michigan State University in 1979 plus he received a masters degree from Central Michigan University in 1993 and a masters from George Washington in Project Management. Mike had many years of service with American Red Cross and subsequently retired as the CEO from the Central Jersey Blood Center.  Mike enjoyed sports – baseball, hockey, and especially football. He was an avid MSU spartan fan! Mike is survived by his wife of 19 years, Denise Clark; children, Kirsten Clark Frederick (Patrick), Meredith Clark, Benjamin Clark, and Beau (Heather) Lindeman; grandchildren, Keegan and Nathan Frederick, Coleman Clark, Bryce and Drew Lindeman. Mike is also survived by his siblings: Thomas (Patricia) Clark, Penny (Art) Arduin, Pat (Lyle) Hoover, Larry (Katherine) Clark and Terry (Cynthia) Clark. Family will receive friends to celebrate Mike’s life on Saturday, February 24th from 1 to 3 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203 with Pastor Mike Prebynski officiating.Memorial contributions in Mike’s name may be made to the American Red Cross 501 W. Market St. Akron, Ohio 44303.
