William “Bill” E. Sharpes Sr., 63, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016. He was a life resident of the Akron area and a member of N.R.A. Preceded in death by his wife, Sandra; parents, Margil and Ordie Sharpes; survived by his son, William (Joyce) Sharpes Jr.; grandchildren, Teagan and Haiden Sharpes; brothers, Leonard (Jan) Sharpes of Copley and Wesley Sharpes of Ravenna; sister, Sharon (Tom) Peeples of Florida; caregiver and friend, Melissa Bibler; numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral service Thursday 2 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203 with Tom Peeples officiating.  Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.  Bill’s family will receive friends from 12 Noon until time of service.
