Marshallville – William “Bill” D. Pyles, 91, died Sunday, February 12, 2017.     Born October 15, 1925 in Barberton to the late Olive Woodburn and Gordia Pyles.  Bill served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II and retired from Babcock and Wilcox with 33 years of service.     Preceded in death by his son, Daniel and wife of 65 years, Mildred; survived by his children, Kathryn (Robert) Spinney, David (Drema) Pyles and Patricia (Eugene) Gallagher; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.     Funeral service will be held Friday 11 a.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203 with Pastor Stephen Olsen officiating.  Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park with military honors. Bill’s family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service.
