Kenneth R. Cox, 97, of Barberton, Ohio passed away on July 1, 2026, after a long, well-lived life spent dedicated to serving others. Ken was born on October 8, 1928, on the O. C. Barber Farm in Coventry Township, now a part of Barberton. Gloria Gay (Toney) Deeds, 85, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at home surrounded by her family. Gloria was born June 2, 1941, to Herbert and Lena Toney in Raleigh County, West Virginia. She loved doing crafts and taught knitting, crocheting and quilting at Barberton High School night classes for many years. William H. McGuire, 97, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2026. Born in Akron on July 16, 1928. He was a resident of Norton for most of his life. He retired from Terex after 30 years’ service. Preceded in death by wife, Shirley McGuire; and grandson, Logan McGuire. Bill is survived by sons, Patrick McGuire and Wil McGuire. Following his wishes, there will be no services and cremation has taken place.

Ruth Dorthea Miller (nee Sisson) 97, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2026. She was born in Barberton on February 24, 1929, to the late Lee and Jennie Sisson.  Ruth was a beautician for 50 years in New Franklin and Barberton. She was a past member of the Eagles, Sons of Herman and Lions Club. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, bowling, golfing and painting.
