Beatrice "Bea" (Brillhart) Thornton

Bea, 95, of McMinnville, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018.She was the daughter of Lester and Bertha Brillhart.  Mrs. Thornton was married September 2, 1942 to Jack D. Thornton, who preceded her in death.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Mark Thornton. Bea is survived by sons, Paul (Betty) of Simcoe, Ontario, Canada, Jim (Bettina) of McMinnville, Tennessee and Tom (Marilza) of Akron, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Gladys Varner Hagemeier of Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin, along with many nieces and nephews.Funeral service will held Tuesday, June 19th at 11 a.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203 with Pastor Mike Prebynski officiating.  Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.  Bea’s family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
