Bertie L. Casady (nee Meeker), 80, passed away Friday, August 3, 2018.She was born December 21, 1937 in Fairview, Ohio. Bertie was a graduate of Barberton High School, Class of 1955 and retired from J.F. Good after 40 plus years of service.Preceded in death by her husband, George A.; parents, Chester Sr. and Ruth Meeker; brothers, William, Harold, Charles, and John Meeker; daughters, Ruth Casady and Barbara Robinson; survived by sons, George (Mary) Casady, Rick (Joy) Casady and John Casady (Laura); daughter, Patti Casady; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Rose Daugherty; brother, Chester Jr. (Peggy) Meeker; along with other relatives and friends.Following Bertie’s wishes there will be no services. Cremation has taken place.
