Beverly J. Hrycyk, 58, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. Bev was born in Barberton, Ohio and was raised in the Kenmore area where she graduated from Kenmore High School, Class of 1978. After graduation Bev started her journey into a nursing degree by starting as a candy-striper at Akron General Hospital. While she continued to obtain her BSN she held many positions at the hospital for 30 years until lastly working on the maternity floor where she helped bring new life into the world. Bev was a member of Cuyahoga Falls Chapter #245 OES. Preceded in death by her father, Ronald R. Landals; survived by her daughter, Sarah (Max) Pry; sons, Dean Lehman and Richard Hrycyk; grandsons, Carter and Luke Pry; mother, Ion J. Landals (Liston); brothers, Larry (Nina) and Richard (Cris) Landals; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held Monday, March 5th at 10 a.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203 with Pastor Joe Caruso officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Bev’s family will receive friends on Sunday, March 4th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. An Eastern Star service will be held at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to, One of a Kind Pet Rescue, 1929 W.
