Doris M. Deuber, 88, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018.Born August 27, 1930 in Washington, D.C. to the late John and Hilda McTeer, she was a resident of Norton for 45 years. Doris was a member of the Norton Women’s Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, Crescent Club and a longtime volunteer at the Norton Library.She served Norton as wife of former Mayor Fred J. Deuber from 1981-1987 and enjoyed writing for the Norton Pride Paper. Preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Fred J. Deuber; survived by sons, James, John (Kimberly) and Dave (Debbie); grandchildren, Jonathon (Nicole), Benjamin (Trisha), Joseph, Kassidy, Jaclyn, Sean, Eric and Adam; great-grandchildren, Nick, Rachel, Nate and Maddie.A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 15th at 12 Noon at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203.Doris’ family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service. Private inurnment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Norton Library, 3930 S.
