Dorothy J. Abbott, 82, went home to be in the arms of her Lord and Savior Thursday, December 14, 2017. A life resident of Akron, she was a long-time member of McNaughton Street Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her parents, James and Helen Linderman; survived by her children, Fred (Deborah) Abbott, Brenda (Carlos) Perez and Dana (James) Lasko; grandchildren, Joshua Paratore, Christine (Alex) Abad Sr., Brian Boyer and Kevin Boyer; great-grandchildren, Hayden Devine and Alex Abad Jr.; along with many other family members and friends. Following Dorothy’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  There will be no services.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to an Animal Rescue/Charity of your choice.
