Dorothy Joan Mihal

Dorothy Joan Mihal (nee Bartoe), 87, of Barberton, passed away peacefully at Manor Care in Barberton on Monday, January 21, 2019.For her short journey there since December 29, 2018.  She was well cared for by the staff. Dorothy worked for numerous department stores and retired from Tasty’s Restaurant at the age of 63.Preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Leana Bartoe; her loving husband, Emil, whom she was married to for 64 years; her son, Steve Mihal and her brothers, Melvin and Danny Bartoe. Dorothy is survived by her sons, Greg (Karen) and Ronald (Margareta); grandchildren, Christy, Cory, Cody and Steven; great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn; along with other family members and friends.The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Barberton Manor Care for all the wonderful love and care Dorothy received.Especially nurse, Kaysie for giving Dorothy comfort in her final hours of life.Dorothy’s funeral service will be Friday, January 25th at 1 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203 with Pastor Mike Prebynski officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 12 Noon till time of service.
