Dorothy J. (Sens) Prtljaga

Dorothy J. Prtljaga, 92, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018. A life resident of Barberton, she was a graduate of Barberton High School, Class of 1943 and was employed by Sun Rubber.  Dorothy then attended Akron Beauty School.  She was employed by Wallace’s Beauty Salon and after retiring she worked out of her home.  She was an avid bingo player, card player and an excellent cook.  Dorothy enjoyed a lot of art work, sketching and crocheting and loved her cats. Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, George; parents, John and Theresa Sens and sister, Agnes McClintock; survived by her son, John and fiancée, Margie Hagan; niece and nephews, Diane, Gary and Mike.The family would like to thank the staff of Woodlands at Robinson in Ravenna for the excellent care Dorothy received during the last six months of her life.Dorothy’s funeral service will be held Friday, March 16th at 1 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave, Barberton 44203 with Pastor Mike Prebynski officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service.  Private burial will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
