Jack Robinson, 81, of Piqua, Ohio, formerly of Barberton and Akron, died on Jan. 25, 2019, after suffering a devastating stroke.Jack was born in Barberton and served as a paratrooper in Germany with the 81st Airborne before becoming a tire builder and then materials manager with General Tire in Akron. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Akron.He is survived by his wife, Sharon; sons and daughters-in-law, Doug and Diane Robinson and Bob and Linda Robinson; daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Gary Davis; five grandchildren, Trey, Joel and Kaira Robinson, and Stephen and Jack Davis; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Jennie Robinson; his former wife, Sandi Robinson; sister-in-law and her husband, Shirley and Maurie Duncan; niece and her husband, Jenny and Kyle Kozeny, and their children, McKenna, Brayden and Kelton Kozeny.Jack’s family will receive friends on Saturday, Feb. 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, Barberton.
