John E. "Jack" Krum

John E. “Jack” Krum, 79, born May 10, 1940, passed away Monday, July 29, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was a life time resident of the Akron-Norton area. Jack was preceded in death by his father and mother, John and Irene Krum.  He is survived by his loving wife, Rita of 45 years.  His twin sister, Judy (Jerry) Lake; sons, John, Paul (Deb) and Chuck; daughter, Christina Carr; nieces, nephews; along with extended family and friends. He loved and lived his life for his 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Jack was an avid fisherman. Spent his life with his family and friends on Lake Erie and local lakes fishing and boating. He was a very hard worker all of his life. Worked at Ohio Brass for 23 years and retired from Omega Cable/Custom Construction. Jack’s family will receive friends on Friday, August 2nd from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton, where his funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Rod Pamer officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
