Katherine S. Goudy

Katherine S. Goudy, 86, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Pleasant Pointe Assisted Living Facility.She was born on August 4, 1932 to the late Katie (Schake) and Lawrence Glunt.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Richard C.; brothers, Jim, Ed, Lawrence, Robert and Richard and sister, Margaret Hudson.  She is survived by daughter, Cathy; son, Marshall (Bob) and her special travel friend; along with other relatives and friends.At mom’s request she has been cremated.  There will be a graveside service Friday, February 15th at 10:30 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park, with Pastor Tina Nees officiating.  Procession will form at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton at 10:00 a.m.Following Katherine’s wishes there will be a luncheon at Hopocan Gardens following the graveside service.The family would like to thank the entire staff and three dinner partners, Betty, Roni and Ernestine at Pleasant Pointe for their care and friendship during our mother’s stay.
