She was an ‘Aunty Mame’, with interests in dancing, sporty cars, riding on the back of motorcycles, complex investments (learned as a child on her grandfather's knee), pro football and clothes (appearing on a list of best dressed women in the Akron Beacon Journal). An only child, she was the last in her line, being survived by her guardian, Joseph Huber, Jr. and her husband’s nieces and nephews,Julia Huber,Russel Lawrence,Carole Maurer and James Lawrence. Particular thanks go to the staff at The Briarwood for years of kind and thoughtful care and to AseraCare Hospice for all they did for her. Remembrances may be made to Cartie’s Kids, 873 N.
