Peggy J. Spence

Peggy J. Spence, 82, died peacefully on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Manor Care in Barberton.She was the daughter of the late Robert and Lorena (Baughman) Spence.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her eldest sister, Rita Young.  She is survived by her son, Brady and his wife, Jamie and her two grandchildren, Adrienne and Andrew.  Peg is also survived by her brother, Bob Spence of Canton and her sister, Jean (Spence) Ali of Los Alamos, N. Mexico.Peg worked for the city of Barberton for many years starting in the utilities department and eventually retiring from the building department in July, 2000.  One of her many jobs was making coffee for her guys in the office.  She also had numerous cats throughout her life and loved them all.A special thank-you goes out the Nurse Laura at Manor Care for providing the loving attention and care that she provided for Peg during her stay at the facility.    Private graveside services will take place on Tuesday, July 24, 2018.
