Rebecca "Becky" Sue (Gottwalt) Ferrell

Rebecca “Becky” Sue Ferrell, 65, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 20, 2018.She was born October 18, 1952 in Barberton, Ohio and was a resident of Mogadore for 25 years.  Becky was employed by AGMC as a surgical nurse in the OR for 44 years and was a member of Barberton First Baptist Church, where she was active in the Women’s Ministry.  Becky was passionate about being a wife, mother and grandmother.Preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Betty Gottwalt and brother-in-law, David Ferrell; survived by her husband of 44 years, Denny; son, Brian; grandson, Hayden; sister, Barb (Bob) Betz; along with many loved nieces,  nephews, other relatives, cousins, friends and co-workers.Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 23rd at 11 a.m. at the Barberton First Baptist Church, 254 6th St. N.W. Barberton with Pastor Mike Prebynski officiating.The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave. Barberton and also one hour prior to the service at the church.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Haven of Rest Ministries, 175 E. Market St., Akron, Ohio 44308.
