Steven C. Leigh

Steven C. Leigh, 62, passed away peacefully in the San Fernando Valley in California.He lived in Northridge, California.He was born in Barberton, Ohio in 1957 and attended Barberton Schools.Steven was a U.S. Army veteran and served in Texas and Germany where he received an honorable discharge twice.  He loved the water and working on old cars and tractors.  Steven retired from the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power in 2007, due to an injury.Preceded in death by his father, Herbert “Herb” Leigh in 2011 and brother, Michael Leigh in 1980, both of Barberton, Ohio.  Steven is survived by his stepmom, Betty Leigh of Barberton, Ohio; brother, Larry Leigh of Los Angeles, California; sister, Debbie (Jim) Baker of Inwood, West Virginia; aunt, Pat (Larry) Stoll of Marshallville, Ohio; uncles, Paul Leigh of Kent, Ohio and Cecil (Mary) Leigh of Newton Falls, Ohio; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Steven will be remembered for his generous kind heart.Cremation has taken place in Berea, California.
