Sylvia M. (Markus) Funk

Sylvia M. Funk, 77, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018. A life resident of Barberton, she was a graduate of Barberton High School, Class of 1959.  Sylvia was a long-time member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.Preceded in death by her husband, Edward; parents, Michael and Anna Markus and sister, Mary Ann Abell. Survived by her children, Edward, Michelle (Jim) Cherok, David, Eric (Tammy) and Kevin (Audrey); nine grandchildren; sister, Helen Parks; along with other family members and friends.Sylvia’s family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 29th from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave, Barberton.  Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204 Sixth St., N.W. Barberton.  Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to BACM or Haven of Rest.
