William H. “Dave” McCune, 77, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018.He was born March 26, 1941 in Calhoun County, W. Virginia. Dave was a resident of Barberton for 60 years and retired from Azko Nobel Salt & Cargill with 33 years of service. He also served in the National Guard for seven years.Preceded in death by his parents, Cleo and Freeda McCune; survived by his wife of 50 years, Kathleen; children, Tracy McCune of Akron, Hoss McCune (Sharon) of Wooster and Steven McCune of Barberton; sisters, Carolyn Thomas of Akron and Judy Deem of Barberton; along with other relatives and friends.Following Dave’s wishes, there will be no services.
