Zelma Ruth (Johnson) Lynch

 Zelma Ruth Lynch (nee Johnson), 83, of Barberton passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018. Ruth was the most wonderful wife, mom, grandma and great-grandma.  Family was the most important thing in Ruth’s life.  She was a great cook and loved to make meals for her family and friends. Preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, John Henry and Eveline Kirk; parents, Charley Johnson and Anna Vance; siblings, William Johnson, Carrie Wilson and Ruby Johnson; brother-in-law, Donald Todd and nephew, Bill Johnson.  Ruth is survived by her husband of 64 years, Bob; sons, Ralph (Sue) and Bob (Karen); grandsons, Ben (Ann), Bryan and Daniel (fiancée, Anna Hauenstein); great-grandchildren, Gannon and Brynne; sisters, Charlene Todd and Loretta Hardin; sister-in-law, Gladys Crane; longtime friend, Dixie Ward; along with many other relatives and friends.The family wishes to thank the staff of Pleasant View Health Care Center for their excellent care, kindness and compassion.  Also thank you to Dr. Thomas Lehner, Dr. David Keith and Harbor Light Hospice. Ruth’s funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203 with Fr. Robert Jackson officiating.  Burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service.In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Lung Cancer Association or the charity of your choice.
