Obituary

Albert “Richard” McIntyre, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 1, 2023. He was a resident of Akron for 55 years. Richard was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He was an avid golfer and loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sue; daughter, Beverly (Rick) Ormsby; grandson, Luke (Charisse) McMahon; great-grandchildren, Riley and Shayla McMahon; sisters-in-law, Kay Hubbard, Peggy Stephenson and Phyllis Keenan; brothers-in-law, Johnny (Renee) Hubbard and Jerry (Francine) Hubbard; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Richard’s funeral service will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton with Pastor Rod Grabski officiating. Burial to follow at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with military honors.The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until time of his service.
