Obituary
Anita S. Warren, 83, passed away Monday, July 31, 2023. She was a resident of Norton for 56 years. Anita taught for 40 years retiring from Barberton City Schools with 33 years of service. She was a member of Emanuel United Church of Christ. Preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Beatrice Criss; aunt, Maxine Thompson; sister, Barbara Hunt and nephew, Eric Wohlgamuth. Anita is survived by her husband of 61 years, Charles R. “Bud” Warren; daughter, Kelly (Greg) King; granddaughter, Melody King; four sisters and one brother. Funeral service for Anita will be held Friday, August 4, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Emanuel United Church of Christ, 16 Eastern Road, Doylestown, Ohio 44230 with Rev. Gaye Santoro officiating. Burial to follow at Emanuel Church Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Emanuel Church Scholarship Fund.
