Arlis Lee Cooper, 94, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2026. He was born on June 7, 1932, in Dott, WV and was a resident of Barberton since 1960. He retired from Babcock and Wilcox after 38 years of service. He was a member of Evangel Temple/Celebration Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Ella Cooper; wife, Anna Lee Cooper; son, Gary Arlis Cooper; granddaughter Margie Cooper; four brothers, and three sisters.
Survived by son, Ronal (Vicki) Cooper; daughter, Janice Slabaugh; grandchildren, Jack (Kelly) Cooper, Amy (Todd) Lillie, Stacie (Robert) Geller, Nathan (Rhiannon) Cooper, Ryan (fiancé Emily) Cooper, Keith Slabaugh; great-grandchildren Rachel, Amber, Ashley, Alex, Andrew, Robert, Emma, Kason, Peyton, Anna, and Aiden; great-great grandchildren, Leah and Jayce; and daughter-in-law, Ronnie Cooper.
Private services will be held for the family with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
