Barbara J. (Schreckengost) Elkins

Barbara J. Elkins, 75, gained her wings on Saturday, November 26, 2022. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on May 9, 1947 and was a life resident of Barberton. Preceded in death by her husband, Carl Elkins; son, Carl Elkins Jr.; daughter, Michelle Elkins all of Ohio; brother, Melvin (Shelly) Schreckengost of Florida. Barbara is survived by her children, Renee Elkins, Tiffany Artis and C.J. Elkins; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; special friends, Diane Craddock and Carla Palmer and her kids; along with other relatives and friends. Barb’s funeral service will be held Friday, December 2, 2022 at 12 Noon at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton with Pastor Paul Watson officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of her service.
