Beth Ann Lorson

Beth Ann Lorson, 64, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021. A life resident of the Barberton area, she was a graduate of Barberton High School, Class of 1975 and retired from the Barberton City Schools after 30 years of service. Beth loved visiting the state of Maine, lighthouses, beaches, the ocean and her favorite hippo, “Fiona” at the Cincinnati zoo. Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Strossie Pierce. Survived by her husband of 42 years, David; daughter, Nicole (Matthew) Freed; son Brian Lorson and granddaughter, Kaitlyn Freed. Beth’s funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 10th at 12 Noon at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203 with Rev. Rod Grabski officiating. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will received friends from 10 a.m. until the time of her funeral service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cincinnati Zoo.
