Betty L. Winchell

Betty L. Winchell, 91, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023. She was born January 5, 1932 in Richwood, West Virginia to the late Cecil and Nina Bender. Betty was a resident of Barberton since 1949 and was a lifetime member of Barberton Moose Lodge #759 where she was active with Women of the Moose. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ronald Long and daughter, Sandra Proctor. Betty is survived by her husband, Gary; sons, Kenneth Long and David (Kathy) Long; daughters, Deloris Kimble, Judy Litten and Terry Long (Carl France); nieces, Cheryl, Cindy and Flora; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; along with many other family members and friends. Her family would like to thank Sarah and Cindy from Southern Care Hospice for the care Betty received. Betty’s funeral service will be held Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 12 Noon at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton with Rev. Rod Grabski officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends on Friday, November 24, from 5 to 7 p.m. and also Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of her service.
