Bonnie Marie Green-Marks

Bonnie Marie Green-Marks, 50, passed away Monday, May 16, 2022 in Barberton, Ohio, surrounded by loved ones. Bonnie was born on April 26, 1972 in Barberton, Ohio and grew up in Akron and Barberton, Ohio before purchasing her home in Doylestown, Ohio. Bonnie graduated from Barberton High School, Class of 1990 and started working at the age of 14 at Angie’s Pizza in Barberton and worked there until she suddenly passed. After high school Bonnie continued working for Angie’s while working at Quikey Manufacturing in Akron, and then going to the Norton School District as a cafeteria worker. Bonnie was the type of person that would do anything for anyone without asking for anything in return.  Her laugh was contagious as well as her smile. Bonnie loved teddy bears, yellow roses, bumble bees and her Pittsburgh Steelers. Bonnie is survived by her son, Matthew; adopted daughter, Brooke; ex-husband, Eddie Marks; longtime boyfriend, Christopher Knight; her dog, “Copper”; step-dad, Jorge Sanchez; sister, Kristina (Larry) Gudat; brother, Austin Green; nephew, Ethan; nieces, Sarah (Harry), Brittany, Tiffany and Briella; along with many cousins, aunts, uncles, and numerous friends.  She was loved by so many and will be dearly missed. Bonnie is preceded in death by her mom, Dora Green. Our Bee is now reunited with our Butterfly. A memorial service will be held for Bonnie on Saturday, May 21st at 4 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton with Pastor Rod Grabski officiating. The family will receive friends and family from 2 p.m. until time of service.
