Brenda Daugherty

Brenda Daugherty, 72, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024. She was a resident of Barberton for most of her life. Brenda was employed at the Federal Building in downtown Akron as a cleaner. She loved spending time with her grandkids and being outdoors. Preceded in death by her siblings, Helen V. Keener, Louise Hollwager, Sonny Fluharty, Louise Carpenter, Steve Fluharty and Clarice Brannon; husbands, Bobby Daugherty and William Allen Lesher. Brenda is survived by her sons, Michael Daugherty and Billy Lesher; grandchildren, April, Britney, Caitlyn, Hailea, Rosie, Chastedy, Anthony, William Jr. and Bayle; great-grandchildren, Malcolm and Noviana; brothers, Larry and Gary Fluharty and sister, Lucretia Pickens. Following Brenda’s wishes cremation has taken place, there will be no services.
