Carol D. Blackburn

Carol D. Blackburn, 95, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2026.  She was born in Wadsworth on December 23, 1930, to the late Harry and Eva Klase.  Carol was a resident of Barberton for most of her life and retired from Barberton Citizens Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; daughter, Bonnie Lawrence; granddaughter, Christine Sandmann and son-in-law, Daniel Grimm.  Carol is survived by her daughter, Evelyn Grimm; son, Thomas Blackburn; grandchildren, Adam, Sarah (Dan), Fred, Heather (Albert) and William; great-grandchildren, Josh, Samantha, Kaitlin and Zach; great-great-grandchildren, Jordan and Macie; along with other relatives.

A graveside service will be held for Carol on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 12 Noon at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Pastor Mike Prebynski officiating.
