Carol S. Campbell

     Carol S. Campbell, 83, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 6, 2026.

     She was born on November 20, 1942, to the late Ollie and Ruby Ferrebee.  She faithfully attended Liberty Freewill Baptist Church.

      Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Gary E. Campbell; sister, Thelma Lue Heslep; brothers, Donnie and Noel Ferrebee; father-in-law, Earl J. Campbell; sister-in-law, Shirley Ferrebee; brothers-in-law, Maurice Heslep and Billy Dawson.

      Carol is survived by daughters, Kellie (Dale) Allen and Karin (Bill) Schaffer; grandchildren, Jennifer (Aaron) Hurd, Kyle (Taylor) Allen, William Schaffer, Matthew Schaffer and Luke Schaffer; great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Annalise Hurd, Addison Kinsley, and Lincoln Allen; sisters, Sharon (Okey) Phillips and Dixie Dawson; along with many nieces and nephews.

     Carol’s funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203 with Pastor Cecil Farmer officiating.

     Burial will follow at McCray-Snyder Cemetery in Creston, W. Va.

     Carol’s family will receive friends on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of her service.
