Carol A. Thrasher

Carol A. Thrasher, 85, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025. She was a life resident of Akron and retired from GOJO Industries. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie and Leatha Beitel; brothers, Robert, Richard, Floyd and Jack Beitel; sisters, Betty Goff and Geraldine Tanner and husband, Douglas R. Thrasher (4/27/2025). Carol is survived by her daughter, Jean Tonge; sons, Charles (Maureen) McCord, Dennis (Bonnie) McCord and Arnett McCord Jr.; stepdaughter, Rebecca Wilkshire; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends. Carols’ family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton, Ohio 44203. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your local hospice.
