Carolyn J. Gooding

Carolyn J. Gooding, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 10, 2020, at the age of 65, due to an extended illness. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandma and friend to many.  Carolyn did daycare for 38 years and helped raise many children, some of which became family. She was a member of the Lord’s House of Prayer. Carolyn had a strong faith in God, loved trips to Amish Country, drawing, ice cream, watching deer and her dogs. She was the definition of “Strength”. She was preceded in death by her father, James Cutting; mother, Leota (Rickey) Cutting; brother, Jimmy Cutting and her dog, “Jazzy”. Carolyn is survived by her husband of 46 years, Barry Gooding; son, James Gooding (Candie); daughter, Leann Gooding; brother, David Cutting (Rhonda); grandchildren, Paige Matheny, Gracie Gooding and Amberlee Gooding; two nieces an three nephews. Carolyn’s funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 14th at 7 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 p.m. until time of service. Due to current circumstances masks are recommended and social distancing will be observed. Burial will take place at Manchester Cemetery.
