Catherine "Cathy" H. Fox

Catherine “Cathy” H. Fox, 84, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023 to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born on September 28/29, 1938 and was a lifetime resident of Barberton, Ohio and a graduate of Barberton High School, Class of 1957. Cathy was preceded in death by her mother, Ann R. Webb (Stamp), father, Haskell Stamp, husband, Edward Fox Sr. (10/13/2022) and several aunts and uncles. Cathy is survived and deeply missed by her son, Edward E. Fox Jr.; daughter, Christine A. Fox; granddaughter, Sara M. Fox; her special sister and best friend, Donna J. Morgan; grandsons, Ethan and Evan Fox; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Cathy was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Barberton and retired from Knudson’s Jewelers after 20 years of service. Cathy was passionate about people and loved extending a helping hand to the poor and needy and would do anything she could for others as well as helping stray animals and giving to animal charities. Cathy always loved family and friend gatherings, especially the ones at the PPG Park, Lake Dorothy and her monthly luncheons with the “Class of 57” girls. Mom always loved watching the Cleveland Cavaliers, Indians and Browns. “Though we know we can’t hold her hand, we know she’s safely in the Lord’s Land.” Her memories will always be remembered, rest in peace mom, we love you and miss you, our last words were always, “I Love You Mom”. Cathy’s family will receive friends and family on Sunday, May 21, 2023, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton, Ohio 44203. Where her funeral service will be held on Monday, May 22, 2023 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Erik Swanson officiating. Burial to follow at Lakewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Barberton, 249 2nd Street, N.W., Barberton, Ohio 442303 or the Humane Society of Summit County, 7996 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087.
