Charles "Chuck" W. Combs Sr.

Charles “Chuck” W. Combs Sr., 80, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024. He was a life resident of Norton and attended Norton High School.  Chuck was a tire builder and worked at Firestone, Bridgestone and retired from B.F. Goodrich. His hobby was collecting antique tools and farm equipment. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Chuck was preceded in death by his loving wife and best friend of 53 years, Denise; parents, Fred and Letha; brothers, Fred, Frank and Jimmy and sister, Eva. He is survived by his son, Charles Combs Jr.; daughter, Judy (Karl) Smith; grandchildren, Aletha Smith, Geoffrey and Jacob Miga; great-grandsons, Brandon and Dylan Riffle; best four legged friend, “Rocco”; along with several nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.  Chuck’s funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 1 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton with Mike Hawkins officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service.
