Cheri Lynne Gardner

Cheri Lynne Gardner, 75, passed away at her home on Sunday, January 14, 2024 after a two year illness. She was born on October 13, 1948 in Akron, Ohio. Cheri was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Walter and six siblings. Survived by her brother, Earl Weinsheimer; and was a wonderful aunt and great-aunt to her nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held for Cheri on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 6 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203 with Pastor Les Sutherland officiating. The family will receive friends and family from 5 p.m. until time of her service. Cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest with her husband at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
