Christopher Dalton Obituary

Christopher Curtis Dalton, 35, of Barberton passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 29, 2022. He blessed us with his entrance to the world on Wednesday, November 19, 1986 the son of Marsha (Brannon) Marville and the late Curtis Lee Dalton. Christopher was welcomed into heaven with open arms by his father, Curtis Dalton; paternal grandfather, Denver Dalton; maternal grandparents, Melvin & Linda Brannon; aunt, Denise Miller, & cousin, Richard Miller II. Love and memories are survived by his devoted loving wife of 6 years, Megan; son, Jackson; mother, Marsha & Charles Marville; grandmother, Carol Sue (Bud) White, stepmother, Janet L. Dalton; in laws, Kevin & Liz Mitchell; grandmother, Elizabeth Bassett; sister, Jennifer (Allen) Tooke; brothers, Daniel (Cecily) Marville and Lucas (Jordan ) Martin; sister, Alexis Martin; brother in law, Brad (Stephanie) Mitchell; nieces and nephews, Korie, Alexis, Camryn, Brianna, Lexi, Hadley, Gannon, Max, Wesson and Magdalise & soon to be Baby Marville. As the grandson of a bluegrass player, Christopher was introduced to music at a very young age.  He was taught the fundamentals of guitar playing and song composition by his grandfather, Melvin.  His love for music never wavered as he grew older he was able to join the sound team and praise & worship team at his church. He was very proud of his Gibson Replica guitar that he built from scratch. His passion blossomed into a special garage band named “LFINO”. He loved to mix beats and you could often find him in his “studio” ( bedroom closet) bustin’ out the newest rhyme and referenced himself as C-Ka$h. Chris had many other hobbies including, RC Cars, skate boarding, photography, fishing, & disc golf where is was notably the 2010 PDG Skillshot Mens champion. He was a proud 2005 Norton Panther graduate and continued his education by graduating from the National Institute of Technology in 2007 earning an Associates in Computer Sciences. During this time he met the love of his life Megan where they were inseparable and shared countless adventures together. They made their love official by tying the knot on June 25, 2016. Shortly after on March 2, 2019, they welcomed into the world their son, Jackson Christopher. This by far was Chris’s greatest achievement in life, as he loved being a father and the mere sight of Jackson would make the pain of his worst days disappear. Chris’s family will receive friends and family on Thursday June 2, 2022 from 5-7 for calling hours at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton, Ohio 44203. His funeral service will be held Friday, June 3, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Tom Showalter officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to be made in the name of Jackson C.
