Christopher "Chris" Matthew Terry

Christopher “Chris” Matthew Terry (45) passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 1st, 2024, after a courageous 3-month fight with cancer. He is once again reunited with his father, Kevin as well as his grandparents, uncle, and cousins. Carrying on his memories are his wife of 14 years, Angela (Wilsterman), and their two children, Merideth and Kurtis. As well as his mother Patti (Hickman) and sister, Sommer (Brian). Along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Chris was the jack of all trades, he was an artist, a poet, a landscaper and a handy man. He used his talents to help those around him, never asking anything in return, he was always willing to learn and help out those who needed it. He could school you in a game of Jeopardy, then turn around and cook a meal worthy of a Michelin star. He also held a degree from the University of Akron and used to co-own East of Chicago, Canal Fulton with his cousin. Not to mention his most favorite seasonal fall job, yelling obscenities at the television during the Browns games. His most rewarding job was being a dad though and he was blessed to have spent so much time with his children. From volunteering at school field days, attending school dances or cheering them on from the sidelines, his presence was felt. He left some big shoes to fill, but we know that one day, we will see him again. And until that time comes, we will make him proud. See you on the train Foxy.
