Courtney Ellen Canan

Courtney Ellen Canan, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the age of 24. She was born October 6, 1997 in Barberton, Ohio. She leaves behind her mother, Kimberly Walker; brother, Thomas Shemuga; sisters, Tiffani Shemuga and Emma Canan; nephew, Anthony Durkin; grandpa, Donald Walker; uncles, Don Jr., Steven and Mitch; aunts, Trish, Anna and Jennifer; loving boyfriend, Howard Clendenin; several other family members and friends. Preceded in death by her dad, Kenneth Canan; grandpa, Doug Canan; grandma, Shelia Gibson and loving grandma, Lucy Walker. Courtney’s family will receive friends on Sunday, October 31st, 2021 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton with a memorial service to follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Rod Grabski officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society of Summit County, 7996 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087 or the Oriana House, 885 E.
