Daniel "Dan" P. Rafferty

Daniel “Dan” P. Rafferty, 65, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024. He was a life resident of Barberton and a graduate of Barberton High School, Class of 1977 and also graduated from the University of Akron in 1981 with a B.S. in Engineering. Dan had a long career in Automation Engineering. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Buzz and Christine Rafferty; brothers, Paul (Paulette) Judge and Terry Judge. Dan is survived by sister-in-law, Jane Judge; five nieces; two nephews and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204 Sixth Street, N.W. Barberton 44203.  Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Dan’s family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until time of his service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, https://www.diabetes.org
