Daniel Cyrill Wargo, 73, passed away suddenly but peacefully on Monday, February 17, 2025. Dan was born in Barberton, Ohio on July 28, 1951 to the late Elizabeth “Jackie” and Cyrill “Shorty” Wargo. He was a graduate of Barberton High School, Class of 1969 and Kent State University. Dan was a member of Ironworkers Local #17 in Cleveland, Ohio and retired after 35 years of service. He grew up as a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church. He was happiest being with his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing with his buddy, Jaret and was the founder of the “Magic Pepper Company”. Dan is survived by his wife of 37 years, Susan; son, Anthony (Ashley); daughter, Danielle (Mitch); grandsons, Caiden and Leon Daniel; sister, Barb (Todd); nephew, Patrick (Trista); many loving extended in-laws of the Blackert Family; along with many other relatives and many, many friends. Dan’s family will receive friends on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton, Ohio 44203. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204 Sixth Street, N.W., Barberton 44203. Burial to follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made St. Vincent DePaul Society – St. Augustine or Cartie’s Kids at 873 N. Columbine Drive, Barberton, Ohio 44203.
