David Howard Smith II

David Howard Smith II, 49, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023. He was a life resident of the Barberton area. Preceded in death by his parents, David H. Smith and Mary Ann (Filippi) Blosser. David is survived by his brothers, Shaun (Dawn) Meehan and Nicholas Meehan; sisters, Shelly Meehan and Deborah Smith; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other family members and friends. The family would like to thank Bruce Bailey, David longtime caregiver and UDS Akron for all their help. David’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 5 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton.The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to, United Disability Services, 701 S. Main Street, Akron, Ohio 44311-1019.
